Turnitin is a plagiarism prevention tool available for assignments submitted through Canvas.
Turnitin Feedback Studio provides source matches and instructor feedback directly on students assignments, or in a conveniently formatted downloadable report. The tool uses a feedback first approach by allowing instructors to leave voice and text comments on specific phrases within student reports or on entire assignments. Turnitin Feedback Studio also offers interactive feedback features such as custom or pre-defined drag-and-drop sets of customizable comments, and standards-aligned rubrics that show students how specific parts of their work affect their grade.
Turnitin Draft Coach is a drafting tool used to generate similarity and grammar reports for student/faculty papers. It does not submit content to the Turnitin Repository and is meant purely as a drafting tool to improve the quality of official Turnitin assignment submissions.
