����Vlog, get ready! The Credit One Bank Credit Tip Off Tour is coming to Carole & Barry Kaye Auditorium on November 9, 2026, bringing free financial wellness and credit education to campus.

Hosted by “Credit Professor” Shaquille O’Neal, the event is FREE and open to 500 enrolled ����Vlog students. Join Shaq and Brianna LaPaglia for a Real Credit Chat covering real-world credit tips and healthy financial habits, plus interactive games, activities, prizes and a live DJ set by Shaq to close out the night.

Don’t miss this chance to learn how to build stronger credit, avoid common credit mistakes and set yourself up for a stronger financial future, all while having a great time with your fellow Owls and Shaq.

The Walk to End Alzheimer's Palm Beach is coming to the Jupiter Campus on Oct. 31. As a leader in neuroscience and neurodegenerative disease research, Florida Atlantic is dedicated to the fight to combat this debilitating disease. Join these body acceptance programs to:

• Resist cultural pressures to accept the appearance ideal
• Reallocate your valuable time to something other than striving for an unrealistic body
• Increase confidence and body satisfaction
• Bond with other like-minded students

What's fun about these programs? A gift basket (including a t-shirt and meal voucher!) will be given to all students who attend both sessions. The sessions are broken up into two 2.5-hour sessions, held one week apart. You will be part of a small group of students discussing the appearance ideal and how to fight back against it. We will discuss pressures and influences on body image, and these sessions will be very interactive, including discussions and activities.

Turn your curiosity into real research! Join one of five new faculty-led teams in ����Vlog’s VIP Program: teach AI to decode disasters, discover hidden species through DNA, explore quantum cancer drug discovery, bring veterans’ stories to the stage, or study how kids build self-control. All majors welcome, undergraduate and graduate! Gain hands-on experience and grow as a leader. Deadline: Oct. 25, 2026.

A supportive therapy group for students with speech and communication challenges.

Speaking of Connection is a supportive therapy group for students living with speech impairments or communication differences. Rather than focusing on changing the way you speak, this group explores your relationship with communication and how speech challenges can affect confidence, relationships, identity, and well-being. Facilitated by a therapist who stutters, the group offers a supportive, low-pressure space to share experiences, build self-confidence, and develop new ways of responding to anxiety and self-doubt. This is not speech therapy; it is a counseling group that emphasizes connection, self-acceptance, and authentic communication.

Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Florida Atlantic's Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) Competition Florida Atlantic Graduate College will host the University's 10th Annual Three Minute Thesis Competition (3MT®) live, in-person at the Boca Raton Campus! The 3MT® competition challenges graduate students around the world to pitch their research in only 3 minutes to a live audience. Developed by the University of Queensland (UQ) in 2008, 3MT® competitions are now held in over 900 universities across more than 85 countries worldwide. At Florida Atlantic's annual competition, over $15,000 in scholarship prizes were awarded to winners from both the Preliminary Rounds and the Championship. Distinguished Florida Atlantic community members served as judges and the public vote determined the People's Choice winners.
