Florida Atlantic, Division of Student Affairs, Military and Veterans Student Success (MVSS) team and center, in collaboration with Career Services and the Career Center, is proud to announce that Trevor Rodgers, a United States Marine Corps Veteran and U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Work-Study Student, is now available to serve you as a certifiedÌýCareer Consultant and Peer-to-Peer Coach!

Through an innovative new partnership, Trevor RodgersÌýhas been trained and certified to provide comprehensive career services and coaching from both the Career Center and MVSS Center locations. As a Veteran, Trevor brings a vital community relatability to our thriving military-connected student and military family communities at Florida Atlantic.

Trevor is prepared to assist military-connected students and military families in the areas of:Ìý

• Successfully translating military education and experience into strong civilian resumes and LinkedIn profiles
• Career, Job, and internship search strategies (including using Handshake effectively)
• Career and major decision consultation based upon your goals, readiness, and strengths
• Interview preparation — how to confidently communicate your military experience and education to employers and comprehensive interview preparation resources
• Partner with you for One-on-One career action plans that have clear, realistic next steps and outcomes
• Help navigating university resources, internships, and employment opportunities
• Guidance on professional communication, etiquette, and workplace expectations
• Career readiness skills (soft skills, networking, goal setting, follow-up)
• Access to continuous career fairs and workshops
• Drop-in (walk-in, phone, video, and email) career coaching and assessments are available!
