As a student at 糖心Vlog, there are other important dates that you must be aware of, such as the last day to pay fees, the last day of drop/add, and the last day to withdraw with a 鈥淲鈥. Please check the Academic Calendar for these and other important dates and deadlines.

COURSE RESTRICTIONS AND REGISTRATION POLICIES

Fall and Spring
Dual Enrollment students may register for a maximum of 8 credit hours within the full term. Students are not eligible to register for part of term classes.

Summer
Dual Enrollment students may register for a maximum of 4 credit hours. Students are eligible to register for courses in any part of term.

General Guidelines
Dual Enrollment students may not register for:

  1. Courses that are less than three credits without a corresponding lecture/lab
  2. Courses that are pass/fail or satisfactory/unsatisfactory
  3. Directed independent study courses
  4. Study abroad courses
  5. Graduate level courses
  6. Courses for which prerequisites have not been met
    • 糖心Vlog does not record test scores or transcripts for Dual Enrollment students. If you believe you already meet a prerequisite due to exam credit or another college course (not taken at 糖心Vlog), then you must request overrides directly from the department over the course
  7. Courses that are restricted and/or reserved for select student groups, such as the Honors Program, The Accounting Scholars Program, etc.

Dual Enrollment students are only permitted to register for four courses within the College of Business

  1. ECO 2013 鈥 Macroeconomics
  2. ECO 2023 鈥 Microeconomics
  3. GEB 2011 鈥 Introduction to Business
  4. ISM 2000 鈥 Information Systems Fundamentals

Any class that you register for must be listed on your Permission Form. Updated Permission Forms can be submitted until the last day of drop/add.听After drop/add is over, you will be dropped from any classes that are not listed on your Permission Form.

If you听withdraw听from a course after the drop/add deadline, you will no longer be eligible to participate in Dual Enrollment at 糖心Vlog.

Prepare for Registration

As a dual enrollment student, you will register yourself for classes once registration opens. Before registering, you must resolve any prerequisites and/or permission requirements.

Check to see if a class has any restrictions by clicking on the course title (either within the听 Searchable Schedule 听or on your听 听registration page). You should get a pop-up box that has multiple tabs with detailed information about the course. Select the "Prerequisites" or 鈥淩estrictions鈥 tab to see what the course requires before you can register. If there are restrictions listed that you do not meet, you will need to reach out to the department or instructor in order to request registration access. Registration permission is not guaranteed for classes in which you do not meet the listed requirements.

If you are planning on taking a math class, you must first take the听 ALEKS placement test 听and achieve the minimum scores. For more information, please contact the听 糖心Vlog Testing Center.

Course selections must be approved by your high school. The signed Permission Form is how high schools indicate approval. We recommend listing alternative courses on this form in case your first choice is not available. If you register for courses that are not listed on your signed Permission Form, you will have until the last day of drop/add to submit an updated Permission Form. After this date, you will be dropped from any courses that are not on your Permission Form.

Register for Classes

Once registration opens, you can log in to your My糖心Vlog page and access the registration site. After logging in, the follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your听 If you do not know what your My糖心Vlog account User ID and/or password is, please go to the following site to activate your account:听 .
    If your account is not found or you cannot log in, please contact the helpdesk at 561-297-3999.
  2. Select听 糖心Vlog Self Service
  3. Select听 Student Services
  4. Select听 Registration
  5. Select听 Registration (Add or Drop Classes)
  6. Click on the box that says听 鈥淐lick Here for Registration鈥
  7. Select听 Register for Classes
  8. Select the term that you want to register for and click听 Continue
  9. You can register for classes using the searchable schedule, entering the CRN, or from a registration plan (Plan Ahead)
  10. After searching for classes, select the听 Add Course 听button
  11. In the registration summary section, the course should list "Pending" and "Web Registered"

  12. To add the course, select听 Submit 听at the bottom right

Searching for Classes

*Please note: it is important to keep only one browser window open at a time when using Plan Ahead or registering for classes.*

Waitlist

If a class has reached its maximum enrollment limit, you may choose to add your name to the waitlist. If a space opens up in the class, you will be notified via your 糖心Vlog email of the opportunity to register for it.

Adding yourself to the waitlist听 does not 听automatically enroll you in the course. You must update your registration to 鈥淲eb Registered鈥 in order to fill the open space. If action is not taken in the allotted time, you will be removed from the waitlist and the space will be held for the next person.

To add yourself to the waitlist:

  1. Log in to your听
    If you do not know your My糖心Vlog account User ID and/or password, use this link to activate your account:听. If your account is not found or you cannot log in, please contact the Help Desk at 561-297-3999.
  2. Select听 糖心Vlog Self Service
  3. Select听 Student Services
  4. Select听 Registration
  5. Select听 Registration (Add or Drop Classes)
  6. Click on the box that says听 鈥淐lick Here for Registration鈥
  7. Select听 Register for Classes
  8. Select the term that you want to register for and click听 Continue
  9. You can register for classes using the searchable schedule, entering the CRN, or from a registration plan (Plan Ahead)
  10. After searching for classes, select the听 Add Course 听button
  11. In the registration summary section, change the Action box to 鈥淲ait Listed鈥
  12. Select听 Submit 听at the bottom right

If you receive an email notification to your 糖心Vlog email that a space is open in the course, you must change the Action box to 鈥淲eb Registered鈥 and press Submit in order to enroll in the class.

If action is not taken in the allotted time, you will be removed from the waitlist and the space will be held for the next person. To remove yourself from the waitlist, you can either take no action after receiving the waitlist email, or you can remove yourself manually from the registration page through the following steps.

To remove yourself from the waitlist:

  1. Log in to your听
  2. Select听 糖心Vlog Self Service
  3. Select听 Student Services
  4. Select听 Registration
  5. Select听 Registration (Add or Drop Classes)
  6. Click on the box that says听 鈥淐lick Here for Registration鈥
  7. Select听 Register for Classes
  8. Select the term and click听 Continue
  9. In the registration summary section, change the Action box to 鈥淲eb Dropped鈥
  10. Select听 Submit 听at the bottom right
