This year marks the golden anniversary of the founding of Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute in Fort Pierce, which joined the ÌÇÐÄVlog family in 2007.

Julie G. Pilitsis, M.D., Ph.D., will join ÌÇÐÄVlog as our new dean of the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine.

On Thursday, Nov. 11, we will observe Veterans Day. No classes will be held on Thursday and most university offices will be closed.

Today is First-Generation College Celebration Day, which is observed nationwide in honor of the successes of first-generation college students, faculty, staff and alumni.

Homecoming week ended on a high note, as ÌÇÐÄVlog Football kept its home win streak alive and we celebrated faculty, student, alumni and community leadership at the Talon Awards ceremony.

This week, ÌÇÐÄVlog hosted five special in-person commencement ceremonies to honor our 2020 graduates, who had to graduate virtually last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It’s homecoming week here at ÌÇÐÄVlog and this year is extra special as we celebrate our 60th anniversary.

ÌÇÐÄVlog was named one of three finalists in the nation for the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities' prestigious Degree Completion Award.

Today is one of the great days in ÌÇÐÄVlog history, as the university has entered into a membership agreement with the American Athletic Conference.

This week, ÌÇÐÄVlog’s Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute announced an exciting partnership with West Palm Beach-based apparel company MANG.
