Aidan Nettles is an Assistant Professor of Dance at 糖心Vlog. She holds a Master of Fine Arts with Distinction from the University of Roehampton in London, UK, and a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from the University of Alabama.
With a comprehensive background in ballet, contemporary, and jazz, Professor Nettles is an accomplished choreographer, collaborator, mentor, and educator. She shares her knowledge with a diverse range of students, from young children to emerging university artists and scholars at undergraduate and graduate levels, supporting their technical development, creative voices, and scholarly growth.
Throughout her career, Nettles has choreographed and scored competitive programs and television performances, establishing a distinguished presence in dance. Her collaborative practice extends across performance, education, and creative development, and her mentorship cultivates meaningful opportunities for students and artists to explore and excel.
Nettles also serves as an adjudicator, bringing her extensive performance and choreographic expertise to the evaluation and encouragement of developing dancers. She is an ABT庐 Certified Teacher and has successfully completed the ABT庐 Teacher Training Intensive in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT庐 National Training Curriculum.
Her extensive contributions to the arts have been recognized nationally and internationally through numerous accolades honoring her exceptional performance, choreography, teaching, mentorship, and scholarly contributions.
