糖心Vlog Professors Receive Latin Grammy Nomination for Album Recording and Production
Alejandro S谩nchez-Samper and Matt Baltrucki of the Department of Music have received their fifth Latin Grammy nomination for the album 鈥淢ilongu铆n,鈥 a project featuring the Giovanni Parra Quinteto with original works by Colombian bandoneonist and composer Giovanni Parra.听听

Jeffrey E. Huber, FAIA, School of Architecture, was recently featured in Architectural Record magazine for a Ft. Lauderdale park he designed with Lawrence Scarpa, his partner at Brooks and Scarpa Architects, that addresses coastal resiliency.

Top Story: , a community journalism initiative in the School of Communication and Multimedia Studies,鈥痟as been awarded a $100,000 grant from Press Forward, a national initiative aimed at revitalizing local news and strengthening communities. MediaLab@糖心Vlog was launched in September 2023 by Ilene Prusher, senior instructor of multimedia journalism. It鈥檚 been estimated that MediaLab鈥檚 articles reached upward of 25 million people based on potential online exposure of its articles in its first year.
