Margarita Castellon
Margarita鈥檚 career spans public service and the private sector. She served as a Cabinet Aide to the Florida State Treasurer and Special Assistant to U.S. Senator Lawton Chiles before leading a strategic government and education team for AT&T in South Florida, and directed government relations for Ericsson-GE and the Republic Group of Virginia. A voice scholarship recipient after performing the role of Maria in The Sound of Music, Margarita earned a Master鈥檚 in Anthropology from Florida State University and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She has served on numerous Broward County nonprofit boards and currently serves on the Lighthouse of Broward Board and as an ex-officio board member of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at 糖心Vlog. A former seminary adjunct faculty member, she leads a parish retreat ministry for individuals with physical disabilities. Margarita enjoys singing, traveling, reading, quilting, mentoring students, and community service.
