About Canis

Back in 1985, the nucleus of Canis got together and gigged throughout Yorkshire showcasing the bands emerging songwriting talents.

The original line-up performed at a local Live Aid event gaining a strong and loyal following around that time.  Unfortunately growing up got in the way and that line-up dissolved shortly after.

In 2010 the band members had another stab at being creative but ego and personality got in the way.

They are now back; a lot wiser, with a new line up and a more diverse approach to songwriting.
