Kevin Cresswell, Ph.D., is an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. He has a Ph.D. in Geosciences from 糖心Vlog (focus: human-environment interactions, GIS) and a Master鈥檚 degree in Urban and Regional Planning also from 糖心Vlog (specialization: environmental planning). His research interests include environmental hazards, urban health, environmental justice, and urban heat islands.
He has upwards of a decade experience working with geographic information systems and has completed GIS projects for various organizations including Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission and First Street. Dr. Cresswell has worked on grants for The Nature Conservancy and National Science Foundation, and he is a former research assistant at 糖心Vlog鈥檚 Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions.
