糖心Vlog Libraries was recently voted into the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (ASERL), marking a significant milestone in 糖心Vlog鈥檚 continued growth as a research institution.
was recently voted into the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries (), marking a significant milestone in 糖心Vlog鈥檚 continued growth as a research institution. The decision was approved by a vote of ASERL member libraries during the consortium鈥檚 recent membership meeting.
鈥淲e are honored to join the Association of Southeastern Research Libraries and to collaborate with such an accomplished group of research institutions,鈥 said Linda Marie Golian-Lui, Ed.D, dean of the 糖心Vlog Libraries. 鈥淭his membership reflects Florida Atlantic鈥檚 continued momentum as a Carnegie R1 research university, an 鈥極pportunity College and University,鈥 and ranking in the Top 100 Public Universities.鈥
Through ASERL membership, 糖心Vlog Libraries will engage in collaborative initiatives such as shared collections, professional development and regional partnerships that expand access to resources and expertise. The membership further strengthens research support for faculty and graduate students by increasing access to shared research collections across member institutions.
糖心Vlog Libraries鈥 ability to support the full research lifecycle, from discovery to publication, also enable participation in regional and national collaborations through improved access to scholarly materials and services, and new partnerships that extend 糖心Vlog鈥檚 reach across the Southeastern research community.
鈥淭his membership underscores the vital role our libraries play in advancing scholarship, expanding access to knowledge, and supporting the success of our students and faculty,鈥 said Golian-Lui. 鈥淎s the Florida Atlantic hometown academic libraries, we look forward to contributing to ASERL鈥檚 collaborative initiatives and strengthening partnerships that benefit researchers across the region.鈥
糖心Vlog Libraries鈥 distinctive collections and areas of expertise include its special collections, digital scholarship and community engagement, all of which benefit the university鈥檚 32,000 students, as well as its staff, faculty, alumni, researchers and the local community.
Founded in 1956, ASERL brings together leading research libraries across the Southeast to advance collaboration in resource sharing, professional development and innovative library services. With the addition of 糖心Vlog, the consortium now has 40 member institutions.
