The ÌÇÐÄVlog Career Center hosts 12 signature career fairs every academic year, offering employers a platform to connect with Florida Atlantic talent. Career Fairs are the most effective way to recruit for part-time, internship, and full-time positions across a variety of industries.
Student attendance continues to grow, making our career fairs a valuable resource for building your brand on campus and identifying strong candidates.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can my organization participate?
Employers can register for career fairs through Handshake. Select the career fair(s) you'd like to attend, complete your registration, and submit payment. Once your registration is approved, you'll receive additional event details, including parking information, event logistics, and recruiting tips.
What are the benefits of participating?
Florida Atlantic Career Fairs provides an opportunity to connect with students and alumni seeking internships, part-time positions, and full-time careers. Participating employers can:
- Build brand awareness on campus.
- Recruit students from a wide range of majors and academic programs.
- Promote internship and full-time employment opportunities.
- Develop a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
Are there any registration fees for employers to participate?
Yes. Registration fees vary by event and employer type. Current pricing is available on each career fair registration page in Handshake.
How many representatives can attend the career fair from my company?
Registration includes up to two (2) employer representatives. If you would like to bring additional representatives, please contact the Career Center prior to the event to discuss availability.
What is included in my registration fee?
Your registration includes:
- One employer recruiting table
- Two chairs
- Registration for up to two representatives
- Lunch for registered representatives
- Employer parking
- Wi-Fi access

How can employers maximize their recruitment efforts and engagement with attendees?
To maximize your recruiting experience, we recommend that you:
- Complete your Handshake profile with your organization's branding, company description, and current opportunities.
- Post internships and full-time positions in Handshake before the event.
- Clearly communicate the positions you are recruiting for and the majors you are seeking.
- Bring engaging recruitment materials, giveaways, and company swag.
- Encourage students to apply during or immediately after the event.
- Follow up with promising candidates promptly after the career fair.
Where do I park?
Parking instructions will be emailed to registered employers prior to the event. Please follow the directions included in your confirmation email to ensure a smooth arrival.
What is the career fair schedule?
Career fairs are held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A typical event schedule is:
- 9–11 a.m. — Employer check-in and booth setup
- 11 a.m.–3 p.m. — Career fair open to students and alumni
- 11 a.m.–2 p.m. — Lunch available for registered employers
- 3–4 p.m. — Employer breakdown and move-out
We recommend arriving early during the check-in window to allow ample time for parking, transportation from the parking lot to the venue, and booth setup before students arrive.
Who attends Florida Atlantic Career Fairs?
Career fairs are open exclusively to current Florida Atlantic students and alumni. Attendees include undergraduate students, graduate students, doctoral students, and alumni from a variety of academic disciplines seeking internships, part-time employment, full-time careers, and graduate school opportunities.
What is the payment deadline?
Payment must be received prior to the event. Employers with outstanding balances will not be permitted to attend until payment has been received.What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Any cancellation or refund request must be submitted in writing to recruit@fau.edu no later than two weeks prior to the event.
Cancellations received after the deadline are not eligible for a refund. Registered organizations that do not attend the event ("no-shows") will not receive a refund.
Organizations with outstanding balances from previous Florida Atlantic Career Center events will not be permitted to register for future events until all outstanding invoices have been paid.
Can I cancel my registration?
Yes. If you need to cancel your registration, please submit your request in writing to recruit@fau.edu at least two weeks before the event to be eligible for a refund.
Can employers film or record at career fairs?
No. Filming, photography, or recording of any kind by employers is not permitted during Florida Atlantic Career Center career fairs or recruiting events without prior approval from the Career Center.
Can employers sell products or services during the event?
No. Florida Atlantic Career Fairs are intended solely for recruiting purposes. Employers may not sell products or services or solicit future purchases during the event.
